How We Help You Move To Germany: Meet Ronja Heidenberger

We interviewed our Account Manager Ronja Heidenberger for you, so you can get to know the person behind the name helping you move to Germany.

Where do you live in Germany?

I live in the southern part of Munich.

How long have you lived in Germany?

I’ve lived in Germany my whole life! I was born in Starnberg. It’s a town in Upper Bavaria, 25 kilometres southwest of Munich. Starnberg is at the northern end of Lake Starnberg which is a popular place for excursions and recreation.

When I was one year old, my family moved to Dresden, then when I was three, we moved to Leipzig.  When I was eleven years old, we moved back to Munich where I have lived ever since.

What languages do you speak?

I am fluent in German and English.

How long have you worked for Archer Relocation?

I started as a freelancer in February 2019, and became a permanent employee in January 2020.

What did you do before you worked at Archer Relocation?

I completed my training as an office management assistant (Ausbildung zur Kauffrau für Büromanagement) at the beginning of 2018, and then spent another 9 months at the same company working as a finance administration specialist.

I always had the dream to travel for a longer time and therefore took a 4 month break to make a world trip (South Africa, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam).

I also wanted to use this time to orientate myself professionally and made the decision to start my own business as a virtual assistant.

Emily (owner and managing director of Archer Relocation) was one of my first clients and I loved working with her from the beginning. When the business grew and she asked me after a few months if I wanted to join her team, I immediately accepted.

What is your area of expertise at Archer Relocation?

I am the responsible person for visa and residence permit applications, and the main contact person for our corporate clients.

What are your three favourite things about working for Archer Relocation?
  1. Personally, a good working atmosphere is very important to me, and I have that at AR 100%! We meet at eye level, and one feels very appreciated as an employee.
  2. I really like the fact that you come into contact with people from all over the world on a daily basis.
  3. The work is very multifaceted and there are always new challenges to be mastered.

Thanks for your time, Ronja. We are so happy to have you working with us. And thank you for all you do at Archer Relocation for our lovely clients.
