How We Help You Move to Germany: Meet Agnieszka Król-Zgolińska
We interviewed our Relocation Assistant Agnieszka Król-Zgolińska for you, so you can get to know the person behind the name helping you move to Germany.
Where do you live in Germany?
I currently spend half my time in Berlin, where I live in Schöneberg, one of Berlin’s most beautiful districts, and the other half in Poland, in a small town for a change of lifestyle.
How long have you lived in Germany?
I moved to Germany with my family in April 2014. For the first four years we lived in Hamburg then in 2018 we moved to Berlin.
What languages do you speak?
Polish is my mother tongue. I also speak fluent German, English and Croatian.
How long have you worked for Archer Relocation?
I’ve been with AR since November 2019. I started with office administration but had a short break during the pandemic. After that, my role grew to include accompanying clients to appointments at offices, courts, and schools. This involves translating for them and supporting them as they become familiar with the various government systems.
What did you do before you worked at Archer Relocation?
For many years I worked in business tourism, mainly in conference organisation, and then in the hotel industry.
What is your area of expertise at Archer Relocation?
I work with clients who move to Berlin with their families. I help them with administrative matters such as registrations and driver’s licenses.
My main role is assisting with enrolment in schools: applications for Kita Voucher, Hort Voucher, and Kindergeld, finding a place in a kindergarten or school, and the related administrative tasks which can be so challenging for clients to navigate.
What are your three favourite things about working for Archer Relocation?
- The diversification of tasks, and the possibility of contact with clients from all over the world, which keeps my mind open.
- Having direct contact, mutual understanding, flexibility, and excellent cooperation with my Archer Relocation colleagues.
- The opportunity to see places in Berlin that I wouldn’t usually visit
Thanks for your time, Agnieszka. And thank you for all you do at Archer Relocation for our lovely clients.
